With nose ablaze, and tail held high,
A symphony of sniffs, reaching the sky.
The Beagle trots, a merry band,
Scent the conductor, leading the grand.
A coat of patchwork, brown and white,
Flashing with joy in the morning light.
Ears that flop, and eyes so bright,
Beagling instincts, taking flight.
Through field and forest, a tireless quest,
For every rabbit, and every squirrel’s nest.
His bark, a joyous, baying call,
Adventure’s echo, heeding nature’s thrall.
But belly rubs and treats can woo,
A loyal heart, shining through and through.
Cuddles close, at your feet he’ll sleep,
Dreaming of scents, secrets deep.
So raise a treat, to the Beagle bold,
Whose nose holds stories, yet to be told.
For in his heart, a joy resides,
The scent of friendship, where love abides.
