A glint of mischief in terrier eyes,
A coat of blue and tan that flies,
Australian Terrier, small but stout,
A whirlwind spirit, full of clout.

With legs that pump and tail held high,
He zips across the fields like a butterfly.
From burrowing depths to climbing trees,
Adventure calls, carried on the breeze.

His bark, a song, both bold and bright,
Alerting all to day and night.
A loyal friend, a loving soul,
His playful spirit takes control.

But beneath the boundless energy untold,
Lies a heart of gold, a love to behold.
He snuggles close, a furry friend,
Contentment found, until the next round begins.

So raise a paw to the Aussie charm,
Whose feisty spirit keeps you warm.
Though small in size, his heart’s grand,
The terrier whirlwind of this sunburnt land.
